So what is this book about? Taking Care of Mom and Dad: ABaby Boomer’s Resource Guide helps caregivers find and access resources for their aging loved ones. 

Who are these caregivers? Well, I was one when I was a child along with my mother and grandmother. We all worked to care for my grandfather in my grandparent’s home. We also all did our part to care for my great grandmother. 

A caregiver can be a person of any age or gender who gives physical and emotional care for an aged person. They don’t have to be a family member but they often are.

It would have been so much easier on my family to have had this information back then. It was all out there but scattered around and very often confusing. My mother and I are now caregivers for my grandmother. 

Having all of these websites and the information with them in a single publication is incredibly useful. That’s why my mother wrote this book and that’s why I edited it and formatted it to make it available through Amazon Kindle. I also designed the book cover. What do you think?

It’s can be so difficult navigating all of the programs out there for another person let alone for yourself. Just having a little bit of direction can be a huge relief.
